Since 1981, Linda Lester has specialized in representing owners of manufactured housing communities. She has prosecuted hundreds of unlawful detainer actions pursuant to the California Mobilehome Residency Law, including evictions based upon rules violations and substantial annoyance, as well as nonpayment of rent. She is experienced in performing foreclosures and warehousemen's liens against mobilehomes. She has defended a number of "failure to maintain" actions filed by multiple tenants against park owners. She has defended complaints based upon alleged violations of the Fair Housing Act. As such, she is experienced in dealing with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the California State Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH).
