They are part renter and part owner. It wouldn't surprise me if some residents walk away from their unit. Most of these parks are occupied by seniors on a fixed income. Bear in mind there has been no COLA increase for these folks in the last several years. They are in no condition for such a high rent increase. Mobile home owners are in a unique situation.
